I am one of those rare individuals that absolutely loves Winter.
And if you love a season, I firmly believe you should incorporate it in your home decor.
So instead of decorating for Valentine’s Day just yet, I am still relishing in cold snaps and crackling fires, bare branches, and fur blankets.
This front entry has proven yet again that it can handle any season.
I simply added a few faux snowballs, a glittery stag, and some frosty branches to the vase; then intertwined the table with white lights.
Here’s the same table seen in summer, fall, and winter.
I was able to use much of my fall decor in winter by deleting the pumpkins and swapping out any brass or gold with mercury glass.
I used all of those wonderful fur pillows during last year’s Winter Decor, so naturally, I brought them back out again. I’m sure at some point, I’ll look back on this trend and say, “What on earth were you thinking, Kelly!?” but for now, they add a happy softness to the room, and I do love snuggling up to them.
The eucalyptus is leftover from my most recent Fall Decor, and I added a few marble coasters to the tray.
I love them. They are so pretty.
Here’s a few more photos of the living room.
I kept the mantle very simple. I added a few branches to a mercury glass vase and dangled a few mercury glass pine cones. Then I brought out a few large candle holders.
Just a little frostiness to tide me over until I can drag out my hearts of red and pink.
And just a little bit of beauty to keep me sane while we continue to tackle the ugliness of the kitchen. Ha!
